The Ultimate Level of Security
To have the highest level of security for a laptop or desktop then we recommend the use of a PSD or PSDM drive as an external boot drive. This puts an added level of security in place in the form of an 8-12 digit PIN code for the drive to work. You would then have your traditional password for the operating system and any data encryption levels you so decide. The SCD series drive cases cannot be opened without the data being destroyed.
Touchscreen Technology
The PSD series portable solid state drives utilise an intuitive touch screen interface that features a random keypad for PIN entry. The screen also acts as your control centre for the device, allowing you to change the settings as and when you need.
Zero Touch Backup
The PSD series drives have a built-in automatic zero touch backup facility that only works with another PSD series drive. When you connect your PSD series drive to its paired backup unit with the ZTB Docking Pod, the drive is backed up automatically at high speed without you having to do anything. This simple backup facility is designed to encourage daily backups so only one day’s data is lost at any time if the drive is lost or stolen.
